Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City made it through to the next round following their win over Bristol City – with Phil Foden and Kevin De Bruyne scoring in a 3-0 win.
Championship side Blackburn Rovers booked their place in the next round following their shock win over Premier League side Leicester City – with Tyrhys Dolan and Sammie Szmodics scoring in a 2-1 win against Brendan Rodgers’ side.
Already tonight, League Two Grimsby Town have stunned Southampton to book their spot in the draw while Manchester United look set to overcome West Ham at Old Trafford.
Championship’s runaway leaders have also beat Fleetwood Town to reach the last eight.
