Burnley hold talks with Marc Albrighton as the Leicester winger considers Foxes exit in pursuit of first-team football… while the Clarets look to fend off Aston Villa’s interest in Dwight McNeil

Leicester City winger Marc Albrighton is in talks over a move to Burnley this summer.

The 31-year old currently has one year left on contract and is keen to play more regularly.

Albrighton has made over 200 appearances for Leicester winning the Premier League and FA Cup.

Sean Dyche is eager to bring Albrighton to the club after failing to land Ashley Young – who chose to return to Aston Villa instead.

Albrighton would be a similar type of player to that of Young and could help fire Burnley further up the table next season.

Meanwhile, Burnley winger Dwight McNeil (above) is said to be a target for Aston Villa

The 31-year-old midfielder would also be a relatively cheap option for Burnley this summer.

The 21-year-old is said to be an alternative option for Villa if they fail to land their primary target Emile Smith-Rowe this summer.
