Liverpool fans took to social media to draw comparisons between former striker Luis Suarez and new signing Luis Diaz.
Diaz joined the Reds in the January transfer window for £37.5million and he made his debut for the club during the 3-1 win over Cardiff on Sunday.
He came on in the 58th minute to replace Curtis Jones and it didn’t take him long to make an impact.

The 25-year-old grabbed the assist for Takumi Minamino’s goal, just 10 minutes after getting on the pitch.
Diaz robbed the ball off Perry Ng on the byline before laying it off into the middle where the Japanese international arrived to finish.
Just before he delivered the ball into the box, Diaz did an astonishing skill which has led to Liverpool fans to comparing him to former striker Luis Suarez.
One fan Tweeted: A touch of Luis Suarez in the Diaz assist , instant impact,’ with an emoji of the Colombia flag.
Another fan said: Don’t think Diaz is getting enough credit for that Suarez like assist.’
A third one added: ‘Luis Diaz. Bring the Luis Suarez debut vibes. Instantly. That byline quick feet and tricks. Jugador.’
Moments after Minamino’s goal, Diaz required a lengthy treatment after Cardiff’s Aden Flint accidentally caught him with his studs. He eventually got back to his feet and completed the game.

Jurgen Klopp put Liverpool fans at ease as he confirmed Diaz will be fine. Speaking after the match, the Liverpool boss said:’He has a cut and a bruise – everybody told him ‘Welcome to England! But he is all good. All fine.
‘He will have a scar there, he has a little bruise. I think he was lucky in that moment. I don’t think it will be anything serious.
‘The goal he set up for Taki was absolutely incredible, high press, counter-press, I love it, then Taki finished it off.’
