After defeating non-league Boreham Wood, Everton will travel to Crystal Palace.

All games – which were picked at random by England manager Gareth Southgate – will played on the weekend of March 19-20.

Speaking ahead of the draw, Southgate reflected on the current circumstances – saying it was ‘incredibly emotional’ to see Ukrainian duo Vitaliy Mykolenko and Oleksandr Zinchenko hug before Everton’s match with Manchester City.

The England boss said: ‘I was at Goodison on Saturday and it was incredibly emotional to see the two Ukrainian players and the support they felt. Our prayers are Ukraine and we have been united in how unacceptable this is.’

Southgate also touched upon Qatar 2022. He highlighted the fact the Three Lions only have eight games until the World Cup in November.

He said that selection for the tournament will come quickly – hinting at the need for players to impress early to secure their place within the team.
