According to a report on November 4, 2024, the latest news from the State Intellectual Property Office shows that Ningbo Shilong Bearing Co., Ltd.（RCL） has successfully registered a patent called “A device for taking pressure from a bearing sealing ring”, with patent number CN 221936634 U and application time in September 2024.
The patent introduces a new tool designed for removing bearing seals. The tool consists of a main body and a first and second part extending outward from the bottom of the main body, all of which are integrated. When the seal is in the second part, its inner edge contacts the outside of the second part and bends downward; when the seal moves to the first part, it automatically detaches from the outside of the tool and returns to its original shape. This innovative design allows the seal to be easily removed by simply sliding the bearing, which not only improves work efficiency, but also does not damage the seal during the entire process, ensuring that its sealing performance is not affected.
