FA Cup fifth round draw: Wrexham to host Tottenham if they can beat Sheffield United in replay, while Manchester United welcome West Ham and Man City travel to Bristol City

Wrexham will host Premier League opposition if they can overcome Sheffield United after drawing Tottenham at home in the FA Cup fifth round.

John Egan scored a late equaliser as the Blades denied Wrexham a direct route into the next round on Sunday and the pair will have to face each other again at Bramall Lane.

Manchester City will travel to Bristol City for their fifth-round clash, with the sides not having played each other since the Carabao Cup semi-finals in 2018.

Manchester United will host either West Ham in their fifth round tie at Old Trafford

Wrexham owner Ryan Reynolds could see his club’s Hollywood dream continue with a trip to Tottenham

Manchester United have an all-Premier League clash at Old Trafford after West Ham beat Derby 2-0 on Mondat night.

Stoke host Brighton, who knocked out holders Liverpool with a late winner on Sunday.

What are the biggest ties?

There weren’t as many shock ties as some were perhaps hoping for but there were still some great ties that came out the hat.

Of course National League side and Hollywood famous side Wrexham could enjoy a dream hosting of Premier League Spurs, however they must find a way past Sheffield United in a fourth round replay.

Southampton boss Nathan Jones might be forced to endure an uncomfortable visit from his old side Luton, with the Championship club having to first beat League Two Grimsby.

Tournament hopefuls Manchester United will fancy their chances in an FA Cup home clash with either West Ham or Derby as will Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City who travel to Bristol’s Ashton Gate.

Who are the tournament favourites?

Liverpool’s limp fourth round exit against Brighton at the weekend means there will be a new FA Cup champion this season. The cup holders have paved the way for other Premier League sides or perhaps a plucky lower league hopeful might shock the nation.

Erik ten Hag’s revival at Manchester United has seen them already establish one foot in the Carabao Cup final and continued their great Premier League form into their 3-1 FA Cup win over Reading.

Man City Premier League chasers secured a narrow 1-0 win over top-flight leaders Arsenal thanks to Nathan Ake’s strike. Spurs could end their trophy barren spell under Antonio Conte with the Italian having enjoyed success in the competition before.

Shocks of the fourth round

There have been a few shocks along the way in this season’s FA Cup competition and the fourth round has so far thrown up some more great clashes.

Cup holders Liverpool after suffering another defeat against Brighton, while National League Wrexham entertained in a brilliant 3-3 tie with Championship promotion chasers Sheffield United.

Sunderland held Premier League Fulham to a 1-1 draw and fourth tier Grimsby won a replay against Championship team Luton.
