However, there is an understanding that the FA Cup is not a top priority for the club this season given their relegation concerns.
But their next two Premier League matches, against Wolves and Everton, are gearing up to be pivotal in determining what direction the east London club proceed.
The Hammers haven’t won a top-flight game since October – a run of six matches.
The poor sequence leaves the club in 17th, only out of the relegation zone on goal difference; an alarming slide that is obvious concern to members of the board.
West Ham have stuck by Moyes despite their worrying form, but it is understood doubts have grown gradually during what has been a largely disappointing campaign.

Sullivan remains hopeful that Moyes can lead the team out of their slump and towards a more successful second half of the season.
Nevertheless, there is also a sense that the hierarchy will have a tough decision to make if the team do not show signs of improvement soon.
If the club are forced into a change, the club will prioritise a manager with a proven track record in English football.
However, their is an awareness that the club’s relegation battle and financial constraints is likely to limit hopes of attracting a top tier coach.

The recent appointment of former club captain Mark Noble as sporting director provides another intriguing dynamic with regards to Moyes’ future.
Noble only started in his new role at the London Stadium on Monday and the prospect of dismissing a manager he was playing under only last season as one of his first acts would provide the Hammers hero with a huge dilemma.
