Wout Weghorst may have provided the winning kiss in Manchester United’s FA Cup semi-final victory over Brighton as he put his lips to the match ball before Solly March missed from the spot.
After scoring his penalty, the 12th in the shoot-out, Weghorst kissed the ball before handing it over to the Brighton attacker.
The Dutchman’s attempt to get in the Brighton attackers head continued as March pulled the ball out of his grasp as Weghorst pressed the ball to his lips for the final time.
March then stepped up to take what would turn out to be Brighton’s final kick in the competition as he blazed his effort over the bar and into the sea of his side’s supporters who had made the trip to Wembley.
March became the only player to miss a penalty in the nervy shootout as Victor Lindelof then put his effort in the top corner to seal a final Wembley return for United.

March couldn’t direct his effort goal-bound despite six of his team-mates previously beating United shot-stopper David de Gea to place the Seagulls in a great position to reach just their second-ever FA Cup final.
Their first came in 1983, they took the Pope’s helicopter to get to the trophy clash, but were similarly beaten by Man United who took the title in a replay.
The Brighton attacker was surrounded by his team-mates and Seagulls manager Roberto De Zerbi at the end of the game.
Weghorst meanwhile ran straight towards the section of travelling United supporters at the other end of Wembley who were celebrating emphatically.
The Dutchman previously smashed his penalty into the back of the net to tie the shoot-out at 6-6.

United made history as they emerged victorious to win their first-ever FA Cup penalty shoot-out and book their place in the final where they will meet hometown rivals Manchester City.
A goalless 120 minutes provided multiple match-winning opportunities but a combination of terrific goalkeeping, solid defending, and poor finishing failed to produce a goal in open-play.
Brighton boss De Zerbi was despondent after the shoot-out, telling BBC One: ‘Usually in penalties the winner is the one who doesn’t deserve it.
‘We made some mistakes in the final pass around the goal area but I’m really pleased with the performance from my players.’
