Karna Solskjaer, daughter of former Manchester United boss and Red Devils legend Ole Gunnar, has decided to leave the club.
The 19-year-old won the double with Manchester United Women’s Under-21s this season and scored 15 goals throughout the campaign for Charlotte Healy’s side.
Solskjaer made her first-team debut for United Women in January during an FA Cup clash against Bridgewater United but never made an appearance in the WSL for Marc Skinner’s team.

The young striker has now decided to take the next step and pursue her career elsewhere.

She has signed for for third-tier side AaFK Fortuna in her native Norway after the deal was confirmed on Tuesday.
She will initially sign an amateur contract with the Norwegian side and then pen her first professional deal from August 1, according to journalist Jamie Spencer.
United legend Ole Gunnar watched on as Karna won her first trophy with United Women in March.

United’s under-21 team thrashed Birmingham City 4-1 to win the Women’s Super League Academy Cup at St George’s Park with 19-year-old Karna playing just over an hour before being subbed off.
She went on to secure the national WSL Academy title after the U21s beat Chelsea in a two-legged play-off.
United women’s boss Skinner spoke fondly of Solskjaer after bringing her on against Bridgewater and stressed it had nothing to do with her lineage.
He said: ‘It wasn’t a token for Karna, it was a deserved [debut]. Congratulations to her. Obviously she’s got a famous dad, but she wants to be famous in her own right.’
