Southampton boss Nathan Jones has hit back at fan criticisms after his side earned an FA Cup victory over Crystal Palace.
The Saints booked their place in the next round of the competition after goals from James Ward-Prowse and Adam Armstrong saw them overturn Odsonne Edouard’s opener.
It was Jones’ second win in charge of the club and, after fans voiced their discontent with the coach during the game, he addressed it all in a rather blunt post-match interview.

The Saints picked up a 2-1 win in their visit to Crystal Palace in the FA Cup on Saturday
During the closely fought contest at Selhurst Park, frustrated Saints fans could be heard chanting: ‘Nathan Jones, your football is s***’.
Speaking on his side’s performance, Jones also addressed the chant, as he said: ‘We pressed with aggression and that’s the real pleasing thing because we want to be a real high tempo side.
‘That means at times we will give the ball away. But that doesn’t mean that my football is s***.’
Though Jones picked up his second win in charge of the club, he still needs to earn a victory in the Premier League to help win over the fans.
The Saints have lost all three of their matches since the return of domestic football following the World Cup break and have lost six in a row in their top-flight.
Saints fans voiced their disapproval after a string of poor results in the Premier League
James Ward-Prowse scored Southampton’s first goal which helped kick-start their comeback
Jones took charge of Southampton at the start of November after the sacking of Ralph Hasenhuttl following a string of poor results.
The 49-year-old had spent two years at Luton Town where he successfully kept the club safe from Championship relegation – a similar task that he faces at St Mary’s.
The Southampton coach will be hoping to get another win their next encounter, which sees them take on Manchester City in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
The Saints will be hoping they can continue their winning form and avoid relegation
