Sheffield United will host Premier League side Tottenham at home in the FA Cup fifth round after the ended Wrexham’s fairytale run in their replay on Tuesday.

It looked as if it would be Wrexham’s night when Paul Mullin’s controversial penalty cancelled out Anel Ahmedhodzic’s opener.

Mullin has been the leading man for the Dragons over the last two seasons, but fluffed his lines when he missed a second penalty shortly after.

And that allowed the Blades to play the role of villains as injury-time goals from Billy Sharp and Sander Berge meant it is they who play Spurs next month.

Carlos Mendes Gomes sent Fleetwood into the fifth round of the FA Cup for the first time after a deserved 1-0 win in this all League One tie.

The on-loan Luton winger climbed highest to meet Phoenix Patterson’s 60th-minute free-kick to score his eighth goal of the campaign.

Victory for Scott Brown’s side earned them a last-16 showdown with Championship leaders Burnley, who beat Ipswich with a last-minute winner on the night.

The Clarets secured their passage thanks to two goals from Nathan Tella, the second in stoppage time, to beat Ipswich 2-1.

In a breakneck start Tella fired Burnley ahead in the third minute but 60 seconds later Ipswich equalised through George Hirst.

However, Tella had the last word four minutes into time added on to send his side through.
