Ralph Hasenhuttl remains hopeful that Armando Broja could be fit to face Tottenham on Wednesday.
Striker Broja had to be helped off the field following Southampton’s FA Cup win over Coventry after suffering a knee problem.
Manager Hasenhuttl said: ‘He did not train yesterday, was not training on Sunday. We will have a look at how he is today. It’s possible he is available tomorrow.

Hasenhuttl did confirm, though, that defender Lyanco will be out for at least two months after suffering a serious hamstring injury against Coventry.
‘For him [Broja] it looks better than for Lyanco,’ Hasenhuttl said of Brazilian summer signing Lyanco. ‘He is definitely out for 8 to 10, 12 weeks, hopefully not too long. It is a little bit the same injury as what Jack Stephens had a few weeks ago so this is more serious.
‘It’s a pity for him because I think he was in very good shape and enjoyed learning and was getting better and better every week so it’s a little bit of a setback but he will come back stronger and hopefully is keeping his head up.’
