Mohamed Salah’s team-mates were left in awe of the Egyptian winger after he scored a stunning volley in training on Thursday.
Ahead of the Reds’ FA Cup clash with Brighton on Sunday, Salah was getting some shooting practice in along with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Harvey Elliott.
All three men looked sharp in front of goal as they each found the net, but it was Salah who took the finishing to another level when he rifled a volley into the top corner with his favoured left foot.

As Salah’s strike flew into the net, there was an audible ‘Oh my God!’ from one of his team-mates, while others could not help but laugh out loud in disbelief as he wheeled away to celebrate.
Salah then turned to the camera, and joked: ‘Here we go, inside,’ acknowledging that he was not going to score a better goal and that training was over.
The 30-year-old has scored 17 goals in all competitions this season, but has looked some way below his best in recent weeks, failing to score in any of his last four league matches.
His sensational volley in training suggested that his confidence is not an issue, but fans have called for him to save some goals for matches to help rescue Liverpool’s season.

Liverpool have failed to click in attack on a number of occasions this season, and have paid the price, with Jurgen Klopp’s men currently 10 points outside the top four.
They were particularly toothless in their last visit to the Amex Stadium when they were thrashed 3-0 earlier this month.
Salah and co. will get the chance to make amends this weekend, as they aim to move one step closer to defending their crown after beating Chelsea on penalties in the final last year.
